Eugene P. McCahill

Eugene P. McCahill graduated from Georgetown College in 1921. He went on to become an investment broker in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also served as the chairman of the first Alumni Annual Giving Committee and was a member of the Alumni Board of Governors.1 As chairman, he was instrumental in raising a total of $107,936.35 from 2,250 donors for the first Alumni Annual Giving Fund.2

From 1956 to 1958 he was the president of the Georgetown University Alumni Association.3 In 1986 he was one of the four donors to Alumni Square.4

McCahill was a commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve.5 In June 1961 he was the chairman of the nineteenth convention of Serra International in Minneapolis, Minnesota.6
