Guy Harris White, Dā€™1902 (April 9, 1879 ā€“ February 17, 1969) was a dentist who practiced in Washington, D.C. He was also a left-handed pitcher for the Chicago White Stockings.

Patrick Ewing (CAS '85) coached the Georgetown men's basketball team from 2017-2023 after an outstanding playing career that included a national title in 1984. Ewing, a center, is often considered the greatest player in program history ā€” including by his coach, John Thompson Jr.

Allen Iverson played for the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1994-1996. Iverson was the number one overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft and is the only Hoya guard to reach the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Craig Esherick (MSB '78, L '82) coached the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1999-2004. Esherick played guard for the Hoyas from 1974-78 and was an assistant coach during Georgetown's 1984 season. 

Alonzo Mourning (CAS '92) played for the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1988-1992. Mourning went on to have an outstanding NBA career, winning an NBA championship in 2006 and entering the Hall of Fame in 2014.

Dikembe Mutombo (CAS '91) played center for the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1988-1991. Known for his defense and shot-blocking ability, Mutombo helped the Hoyas to an Elite Eight appearance in 1989 and went on to a Hall of Fame NBA career.

Reggie Williams (CAS '87) played for the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1983-1987. Williams played a pivotal role in the dominant Georgetown teams of the mid-80s and led the Hoyas to the Elite Eight in 1987. Picked fourth overall in the 1987 NBA Draft, he had a decade-long NBA career.

Eric "Sleepy" Floyd (CAS '82) played for the Hoyas men's basketball team from 1978-1982. Floyd, a guard, helped lead the Hoyas to an Elite Eight appearance his sophomore year and the national championship game during his senior year. A 1st-round pick in the 1982 NBA Draft, Floyd had a 13-year NBA career.
